Our Solarflower project became finalist in this innovation competition that rewards sustainable ideas, techniques, technologies and design
Every sunny day these custom-designed Solar Flowers will produce 6 kilowatt-hours of clean electricity saving 1,7 tonnes of CO2 emissions. The renewable energy is stored in Solar Batteries and provides independent power to run a water feature and LED lighting.
Solar Flowers symbolise our striving to minimise our carbon footprint. They were seeded in a very dry season but now we hope that rain, sunshine and universal action will follow so that climate can change for the better …
